Mobile mechanic helps stranded Mt Coolum couple the night before Easter!

Imagine this. It’s late Thursday afternoon, the day before Easter. Your car has broken down. Roadside assistance has abandoned you and it looks like a very long four days with no car.

This was Nathaniel and Merelyn’s situation just a short time ago when they broke down in Mt Coolum. Roadside assist couldn’t fix their car that day because they needed a new starter motor. They were left stranded.

Fortunately for them, Michael, the owner of Airport Automotive Marcoola, just happened to be in the car park and saw their bonnet up. Arranging a tow to his workshop, Michael tried desperately to get a replacement starter motor so they could have a car running for Easter. After a number of unsuccessful attempts, finally, at around ten to five that night he was in luck and managed to source a starter motor at the last minute. The end result. He fixed the car that night and delivered it to their door the next morning on Good Friday. It’s a rewarding feeling to be able to help someone out in a difficult moment.
